Wuhan launched a campaign to attract visitors back after the pandemic

by Victoria

Wuhan, the Chinese city where the first Covid-19 infection was recorded and the source of the coronavirus, has launched a tourism campaign to attract tourists.

The city recorded its first viral infections in December last year. Although it was initially the epicenter of the epidemic, the capital of Hubei province in central China has not recorded any cases of public transmission since May 2020. Now, the Wuhan Department of Tourism and Culture has released a new video, titled “Let’s meet in Wuhan”, to attract tourists.

The bureau included a message on Weibo: “Wuhan is never stingy in showing its beauty. And we hope many people will feel this beauty. We look forward to seeing you in Wuhan.” . The video shows the views and natural beauty of the city as well as the bars and museums … Many praised the beauty of the city after watching.

Wuhan is known as the top destination for Chinese citizens until the end of the pandemic, according to a study published in April.
